Welcome to Central Ohio Parrothead Club
Central Ohio Parrothead Club (COPHC) was founded in 2024 by Greg Calhoun and is an active chapter of Parrot Heads in Paradise. Post Jimmy Buffett's passing a number of local Parrotheads were looking for something more to keep the party going. At the time there was not local chapter presence in central Ohio so we rolled up our sleeves and COPHC was launched with the support of many local Parrotheads stepping up to showing their support for a local chapter.
COPHC is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to assist in local community, charitable and environmental concerns. As well we look to provide a variety of social activities for people with similar tastes and interests
We have our monthly meetings on the Fourth Wednesday of every Month. The meetings begin at 6:30 PM at Yogi’s Bar and Grill located at 3880 Hard Rd, Dublin, OH 43016. We PHlock early and stay late for social time. On occasion we reschedule the date due to holidays and or events that potentially conflict with our regularly scheduled time. About PHIP - Parrot Heads in Paradise: The purpose of the organization is to promote the international network of Parrot Head Clubs as a humanitarian group sharing information and social activities for mutual benefit.
The organization will engage in activities that are charitable, educational and that promote the general welfare of the community. Parrot Heads in Paradise, Inc. is a Not-For-Profit Corporation, whose purpose is to assist in community and environmental concerns and provide a variety of social activities for people who are interested in the music of Jimmy Buffett and the tropical lifestyle he personifies.
This madness started with one club in Atlanta (founder, Scott Nickerson) and has blossomed to a network of over 200 clubs around the U.S. plus international clubs based in Canada, Europe, the Caribbean and Australia.
